Tactile Books & Graphics

Apart from entertainment for young VI readers, these books are intended to help bridge an understanding between 3D objects or models, and their 2D representation in embossed or PIAF media. As a lapsed physicist, I can't bring myself to refer to these relief pictures as 2.5D but it does convey the concept pretty well.
The text is in Grade2 UEB braille. The vacuum/thermo formed pages are made from a robust, wipeable, 0.5mm white HIPS plastic and occasionally include a textured insert to assist with the story.. They are double-sided and bound with cable ties to form a conventional book format with minimal page movement whilst touch reading. The book is stored within a 5-sided box made from recycled corrugated cardboard or, in the case of Andy, in a zippered bag.
These Braille books are delivered FREE thanks to Aus Post.
