Models of young and old mountains are used to illustrate the geomorphic cycle. They show how the steep high peaks on a mountainous island age over thousands of years of weathering by wind and water to become low rounded hills, flood plains with meandering rivers and an offshore island and rock stack. 
The 2mm contoured models are approximately A4 and vacuum formed in robust HIPS plastic.
