A tactile map of Australia designed to be used with the 5x5 maths kit as part of a lesson in grid references. The non slip foam locates the map on the grid but is thin enough to allow a student to subtly feel the grid beneath the map.
Made from 3mm black nonslip foam with 1.5mm white raised foam state boundaries and domed screw heads for capital cities. Tasmania and the north point are mounted on blank counters for easy location on the grid.
