This versatile 5x5 grid system is designed for use with tactile shape and Braille numeric counters as well as Braille shorthand counters.
The grids provide a concrete way to introduce vertical maths formats before moving on to using a Brailler. 4 units create a 10x10 grid formation ideal for teaching long division.
They can also be used for an introduction to graphing, map referencing and word games as well as simple board games like 9 holes.
Made from Hoop pine ply. Wells are 30x30x5mm and non slip foam pads make multiple arrays simple.
