Braille Phonics Kit

A Braille alphabet system designed to assist with introducing the relationship between the sounds of the spoken language and the letters.

Letter counters have the top right corner cut for easy orientation and 2 (1x6) grids accommodate up to a 12 letter word. The 10 compartment alphabet box contains 57 counters (2x consonants & 3x vowels) which suits storing letters in groups aku, blv etc. to assist with selection.A 6 compartment box contains 6 blank counters, 3 capital letter signs and 2x17 contraction counters identified by both top corners cut. Contractions include the upper group signs CH GH SH TH WH ED ER OU OW ST AR & ING, the lower group signs IN & EN plus the 2 cell final group signs OUND OUNT & ONG.
